All of our weekly and monthly offerings are free and open to everyone, unless noted differently.

Book Club

Mondays 7:00 - 8:00pm

Pema leads a weekly discussion on the book “Uncommon Happiness - the Path of the Compassionate Warrior.” This book includes many accessible instructions to help understand great compassion, and how to develop it in our daily lives and deepen our meditation practice through it. An optional meditation will be held at 6:30. The book club is currently closed to new members. Contact Pema to find out when a new reading will begin.

Guided Meditations

Wednesdays 6:00 - 6:45pm

Sit, relax and let us guide you in either a mindfulness, contemplative or compassion-based meditation. After introducing the meditation we'll be doing, you'll be guided in a meditation for 20 to 30 minutes, with time for discussion afterwards. Everyone is welcome, whether it is your first time meditating or you want to make this a weekly ritual. Please arrive 10 minutes early if it is your first time so we can help you to sit comfortably. Led by Jugney Colin Arndt, a Joyful Path meditator with ten years of experience in contemplative practices.

Guided Green Light Meditation nights

3rd Fridays 8:00-9:00 pm

Unlike our Wednesday evenings, the 3rd Friday of the month is dedicated to a particular practice - the Green Wisdom Light meditation. Members of the White Conch community, as well as anyone interested in experiencing this meditation for the first time, join together for a guided practice. Interfaith Prayers for World Peace

1st Sundays 9:00-10:00 am

Part of the Joyful Path vision of contributing to social change is to do regular prayers. Our thoughts have power, especially when we gather as a group for a dedicated purpose. Please join us for this wonderful opportunity to hold and express a positive vision for the world, and deepen your understanding of peace through the prayers of different world faiths.

Practical Buddhist Wisdom

1st Sundays 10:00 - 11:00am

Hear Joyful Path teachers speak on how to integrate meditation, mindfulness and other Buddhist understandings into your life. Currently, they are exploring the Eightfold Path, a practical set of guidelines at the heart of Buddhist philosophy, for overcoming daily problems and supporting our spiritual practice.

Once a month around the full moon, 8:00-10:00 pm

This is a monthly Tibetan Buddhist prayer ceremony and celebration open to those who have received Lama Chopa or Green Light practice. Check the calendar for exact dates. If you would like to attend or would like more information, please contact us.
