Guided Meditations

Wednesdays, 7:00-8:00PM

Experience meditation led by ordained Buddhists in a sacred space.

Meditation is a medicine we can carry with us every moment of our life. With a regular meditation practice, people often feel more joyful, creative, and less prone to stress or anxiety over things that used to seem overwhelming.

Each week, we practice for about 30 minutes from one of the five types of meditation:

  • Body calming
  • Mind calming
  • Contemplative
  • Prayer and chanting
  • Transformative

Led by Pema, Jugney or Wangmo.

Introduction to Meditation workshops

One Saturday every other month, 10:00-4:00 pm

The heart of Joyful Path's approach to meditation comes from the five categories listed above. In these workshops, you'll learn about all five categories, experience a meditation from each, and gain the tools to begin a practice in the style you choose. Beginners and advanced meditators are welcome.

Interfaith Prayers for World Peace

1st Sunday of the month 9:00-10:00 am

Part of the Joyful Path vision of contributing to social change is to do regular prayers. Our thoughts have power, especially when we gather as a group for a dedicated purpose. Please join us for this wonderful opportunity to hold and express a positive vision for the world, and deepen your understanding of peace through the prayers of different world faiths.

Morning Meditations

Weekdays 6:00-6:30 am

As part of maintaining Joyful Path as a sacred space, we hold guided Green Light meditations every weekday morning with a special beneficial intention. You are welcome to join us for these 30 minute sessions. Please call ahead if you would like to join us.

Guided Green Light Meditation nights

3rd Fridays 8:00-9:00 pm

For people who do not like to get up as early, we've created monthly Green Light meditation nights. As always, everyone is welcome to join and experience the powerful benefits of this guided meditation.
