Chris Hayden
Services offered
Rolfing / Structural Integration
Chris Hayden, Certified Rolfer, is in awe of the bodymind's innate capacity to express well-being. His explorations into this mystery have been guided primarily through ongoing studies of meditation and tai chi, as well as a background in Asian bodywork therapy. After training at the Rolf Institue for Structural Integration, he began private practice in 2007. He has come to see that his job as a Rolfer is basically about being present with Relationship as it appears in the body and helping clients attune more deeply to it. He uses humor and gentle encouragement to help clients participate fully in each session, so that they are empowered to develop their own structural awareness in their daily lives. He is completely honored and grateful to bear witness to the process of transformation in the body and the whole person.
Chris offers Rolfing Mondays and Fridays by appointment. To schedule an appointment or learn more, contact him at 608-630-0664.

Lynne Johnson

Tai Chi classes
Lynne was in graduate school in the mid-1980s when she read, “Every lesson is the first lesson, every time we dance, we do it for the first time.” These words from a tai chi master touched her deeply, and she soon began tai chi classes with her primary teacher Tricia Yu, founder of the Tai Chi Center of Madison; that quote still inspires her today.
She has now practiced Yang style tai chi forms and qigong for 25 years, and been privileged to learn from two lineage masters and many skilled teachers. Having received and witnessed the profound benefits of practice, she began teaching tai chi 10 years ago as an act of gratitude. She is fascinated by how basic tai chi principles can teach us to move through our every day lives with more clarity and effectiveness, paradoxically both more relaxed and more energized. She invites you to join her in the dance.
