Michelle Hess - Feng Shui

Fifteen years ago I was introduced to the ancient Chinese art of feng shui and discovered my passion. Since then I have studied with numerous master teachers across the country, including His Holiness Grand Master Professor Thomas Lin Yun, head of the Black Sect Tantric Buddhist Feng Shui School (BTB).

With years of feng shui training and experience, a UW degree in Psychology, my art background, intuition and dowsing expertise, I have the tools to help you create a living space that is better able to support your career, health and finances, enliven your creativity and relationships, attract new opportunities into your life, and guide your spirit. Red Envelope Tradition
In keeping with the BTB school of feng shui which I practice, I ask that my clients enclose payment for consultations in a new, red envelope. (Joyful Path Spa Retreat Day participants need only enclose a token payment, e.g. a coin.) The “red envelope tradition” is a Chinese custom still used today for important holidays, ceremonies and ritual.

Red is a powerful color of high energy, and symbolizes the important energy exchange between the feng shui consultant and the client. It is a way to show respect for the transmission of this sacred information, honors the ancestors who have acquired and passed on their wisdom, and increases the effectiveness of the information that is being shared. It also protects the practitioner from having her/his energy drained or weakened when sharing this knowledge. By respecting the red envelope tradition you honor the importance of what has been shared and help to ensure continued good luck for yourself.

Following receipt of the red envelope I will take the envelope home and perform a special ceremony to seal your intentions and to support you in any changes or enhancements you desire to make as a result of our consultation. Thank you for honoring this sacred tradition.
