For most of us, stress is a daily part of life. This is an accepted and often encouraged part of our culture. However, it doesn't make us more productive, but just the opposite. It hinders clear thinking, and eventually leads to a host of physical and mental symptoms.
With meditation practice, we learn how to transform the habit of stress. Over time, little things stop bothering us, and bigger things feel more manageable.
In this workshop, the Joyful Path monastics will present a variety of meditation-based techniques to calm the mind and relieve stress, which can be practiced at any time through the day.
