John Arms - Chair Massage

I am the founder of Beyond the Surface Massage & Bodywork. Prior to beginning a career in the Healing Arts, I worked as a professional dancer for nearly twenty years, the last nine of which were with Princess Cruises traveling around the world and entertaining the passengers in the on board production shows. A injury while on stage brought me back to Wisconsin where I had surgery, and while in PT decided to make my dream of becoming a massage therapist a reality.

I enrolled in the summer intensive program at TIBIA Massage School in Madison, and in seven short (sometimes long) months completed the 750 hour program and am now excited to have yet another wonderful career that I grow to love more and more everyday.

My dream is to have a fulfilling and abundant practice, touching the lives of as many people as possible, while teaching them their own healing lies just Beyond the Surface.
